Dr. EILEEN BRITO, LCSW 
Bilingual Psychotherapist/Owner

Dr. Brito is a bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She earned a B.A. in Psychology from the City College of New York in 1998, a Master of Clinical Social Work in 2000 from New York University, and a Doctorate of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2025. Her doctoral work explored the power of gender-affirming care and the importance of family involvement.

Dr. Brito began her career supporting LGBTQ+ homeless youth at Covenant house in NYC. Since then, she has provided psychotherapy in diverse outpatient community mental health settings and private practice, including group facilitation for LGBTQ+ communities at the Bronx Lesbian and Gay Health Resource Consortium.

She has worked extensively with Latina, monolingual women and LGBTQ+ clients through the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services, where she also completed a five-year certificate in group therapy through the Martha K. Selig Educational Institute. Her experience also includes assessment and treatment in substance use outpatient and residential programs.

Dr. Brito later joined St. Luke’s Behavioral Health in Bethlehem, PA, offering individual, family, couples, and group therapy for adolescents and adults. There, she developed clinical trainings, supervised graduate counseling students, and contributed to local mental health publications. She has held adjunct faculty roles at Lehigh Carbon Community College and is a part-time instructor with Rutgers University School of Social Work.

In 2013, she founded Pocono Behavioral Wellness, LLC, now serving clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her practice offers comprehensive counseling for adolescents and adults. Dr. Brito specializes in LGBTQ+ mental health, gender-affirming care for transgender and non-binary youth and adults, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and women’s issues.

Her clinical approach is grounded in mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and a strength-based, holistic lens that honors the connection between mind, body, spirit, and emotion. She often incorporates yoga and meditation into her work. Dr. Brito remains dedicated to making therapy accessible to everyone in the community who is open to taking the journey.

Dr. Brito takes great pride in working with her small bundles of joy, Cody and Mia, both teacup chihuahuas and certified therapy dogs through Therapy Dog International (TDI), a non-profit, nationally recognized volunteer organization.

SANDRA J RUEDA, MSW
Bilingual Psychotherapist

Sandra J. Rueda received her B.A. in Psychology from City College in 2003 and earned a Master of Social Work from Hunter College in 2012, specializing in the Children, Youth, and Families field of practice.

In 2005, Ms. Rueda became a member of the Board of Visitors for the NYC Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for Individuals with Disabilities.

Ms. Rueda has extensive experience working with families and children with developmental challenges and physical disabilities. She previously served as the Program Director of a crisis Family Intervention Program, providing psychotherapy and guidance to families in distress, and she continues to oversee the program as a consultant.

She also works with families and children of all ages as a Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) and Mobile Therapist (MT). In this role, she provides therapy, develops individualized behavior modification plans, and designs treatment approaches tailored to each family’s unique needs. Ms. Rueda also offers staff supervision, mentoring, and training.

FREDERICK EUSEBIO, EAA

Mr. Frederick Eusebio received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2008. For the past nine years, he has worked in the healthcare field in a client relations role. 

In his spare time, Mr. Eusebio enjoys web and graphic design, as well as exploring emerging technologies. A lifelong animal lover, he currently cares for two cats and a dog. As a member of the PBW staff, he is committed to making client satisfaction his top priority.
